The parents in our Families Learning Together program are a unique bunch of women. They are determined to reach their goals, whether they are aiming to finish high school, maintain employment, start college, find an apartment, or get their driver’s license. They want a better future for themselves and their children, and they’re willing to work hard to get it.
Another year of Families Learning Together has drawn to a close, and now we’re looking ahead to next year! Part of the planning is taking into consideration the opinions of the parents we’re serving. Every year we send around a survey that asks participants what was good about their experience, what was most helpful, and what could be improved. Here are a few of their answers to the question, “What was most helpful about this program?”
“The staff’s ability to work with my individual needs.”

“[FLT] helped me get my high school diploma.”
“The parenting classes taught me a lot I didn’t know.”
“I learned more about myself. I learned to be a better parent.”
Every staff member here truly cares about those they work with and have always gone above and beyond to help you get where you want/need to be in your life.
