Watering the seeds

Here in the Upper Valley, gardens are just beginning to fill out and show off their colors. At The Family Place, children in the Child Care Center are doing their part to contribute to the natural beauty of our area by planting sunflowers!


Everyone gets a turn!

Children are fascinated by how the natural world works. How does a tiny seed turn into a beautiful flower? Why are sun and water so important, not only to growing plants but to growing children? Their natural curiosity thrives when they’re given the tools to explore.

We’ll post pictures of the results in a month or so!
