Parenting Your Young Child

Join us for a 6-week session with Margot Holmes, Certified Human Behavior Consultant, exploring the joyous, frustrating, inspiring, and often exhausting experience of parenting in the early years (ages 0-8). We will explore how temperament – of both parent and child – can affect behavior and relationships. Other topics will include validating children’s emotions, engaging cooperation, and finding alternatives to punishment. Classes will begin on May 8th and will meet weekly on Thursday evenings from 6:00-8:00pm at The Family Place, 319 US Route 5 South, Norwich, VT. There is a $50 fee for this course (scholarships are available). No childcare will be provided.
