Check out this new website http://rhiannahutchins2.blog.com/ from Rhianna Hutchins, a Families Learning Together graduate. As part of her coursework at the Community College of Vermont, she’s volunteering at The Family Place JewelryOs™ studio in a mission to make the world a better place, “…one bead at a time.”
JewelryOs™ is one of the worksites within the Families Learning Together program, where young parents build confidence and work ethics while creating beautiful necklaces, bracelets and earrings, the sales of which support the program. It’s a chance for participants to gain employment experience while giving back to the organization they rely on for practical guidance and mentorship.
We are thrilled when past participants return to give their time to a cause that profoundly altered their own lives. Follow along with Rhianna as she records her adventures in giving back!
