Gingerbread Baskets are ready for auction!
The Family Place Gingerbread Festival is only 3 and a half weeks away! Our gingerbread volunteers are very busy preparing for the hundreds of families we expect to visit us at Tracy Hall in Norwich on Saturday, December 14th.
One of our most popular aspects of the Gingerbread Festival is the Silent Auction. We auction off about 75 gingerbread houses, a quilt, many wonderful gift items donated by local businesses, and 31 gift baskets compiled by The Family Place board members and staff!
Community volunteer Tracy Smith has been the integral force behind the beautifying of our baskets! Ribbons, gingerbread men cutouts, cellophane, shiny stars – using her terrific decorating skills, Tracy has transformed these baskets into very special pieces of art that anyone would be thrilled to receive as a gift this holiday season.
Please join us Saturday, December 14th from 10 am – 3 pm at Tracy Hall in Norwich, Vermont for our 11th annual Gingerbread Festival!
