It’s almost here! Our 9th annual Gingerbread Festival will take place this Saturday, December 3rd from 10 am to 3 pm at Tracy Hall in Norwich, Vermont.
As always, we’ll have something for everyone in the family: exquisitely decorated gingerbread houses, silent auction items, gift baskets, a handmade quilt raffle, a café, a store, storytelling, cookie decorating, music, and the chance to experience the wonderful holiday cheer that infuses the Upper Valley this time of year!
For those of you looking to do some holiday shopping this weekend, check out the list of silent auction items: passes to Disney World; baseballs signed by the 1975, 1976 Red Sox; 16’ Trek bike from Omer & Bob’s; hand-crafted wooden jigsaw puzzle from Stave Puzzles; jewelry from Dutille’s and Von Bargen’s; gift certificates for Hen of the Wood, Upper Valley Aquatic Center, League of NH Craftsmen, AVA Gallery, Carpenter and Main, Eastman Golf Links and many, many more!
Not only is this our biggest fundraiser of the year but it’s also our chance to thank the community for their year-round support of the work we do here at The Family Place. Without our friends and neighbors, we could not provide important services that affect the lives of the youngest inhabitants of the Upper Valley and their families. To you all, we extend our gratitude.
