On behalf of all of us at The Family Place, I want to thank everyone for their wonderful contributions to our Gingerbread Festival! We are truly grateful for your support of our organization through the reimagined festival! We couldn’t have done it without the support of our event sponsors, gingerbread house makers, volunteers, dedicated staff and board members, auction bidders, local businesses and organizations who donated items, and the rest of our wonderful community!

Despite challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our 18th Annual Gingerbread Festival was a fantastic success! Members of the community toured and viewed 67 delicious-looking, skillfully-crafted gingerbread houses in storefront windows or other visible places at businesses and organizations in the Upper Valley. We auctioned the gingerbread houses online – raising almost $5,000 – and an array of donated items and experiences from 71 generous donors – raising over $12,000! For our festival, we expect to exceed $35,000 raised from all auction purchases, donations, and sponsorships. Truly amazing!

Your generous support through the Gingerbread Festival helps us reach the Upper Valley families most in need. Each year we provide children and families with critical services and opportunities such as counseling, case management, high-quality childcare, education, food for food-insecure families, home visits, developmental screenings, and so much more. We believe that every family should have the chance to reach their full potential, and we are so honored to be your partner in helping them.
