This year, we are pleased to celebrate an important milestone: The Family Place has held our annual festival – without pausing for the pandemic – for 20 years!
The Family Place is excited to return to Tracy Hall for an in-person Gingerbread Festival! The festival is a fun-filled, family-friendly event offering: a display of almost 100 gingerbread houses; a silent auction of the gingerbread houses and other auction items; a Gingerbread Country Store with handcrafts, gift items, and pre-made food; and cookie decorating and fun activities for children. Join us for a wonderful celebration of the season and help us continue to support families in the Upper Valley and beyond!
Admission will be $10 per family or $5 per individual, and all proceeds benefit The Family Place.

How to Bid!
While our festival is an in-person event, all bidding is online through 32auctions. At the festival, every house and item will have a display sheet with a QR Code so bidders can scan using a smartphone to quickly view the item and place a bid. It’s a fast, effective, and fun way to participate in an auction (especially with the immediate outbid notifications, so no hovering near the houses!).
If you need assistance, staff have a “tech table” at the festival to help bidders or contact us (gingerbread@the-family-place.org).
This hybrid option of a live event with online bidding is a move for your health and safety (no more pencils and bidding cards touched by dozens of hands) and brings everyone together to view the houses on display at Tracy Hall. Online bidding allows people who can’t attend to participate too (please see the links below to the online auction webpages). Tracy Hall has adequate Wi-Fi and cell service.
It’s a good idea to create a bidding account before arriving at the event (many may have created an account for the 2020 and 2021 online auctions). Create a new account online today (https://www.32auctions.com/users/new) and contact us (gingerbread@the-family-place.org) if you need written instructions.
Bidding will begin today at 5:00 pm! All houses and items will be available to view at that time.
