No family can thrive in a vacuum. We all need help at some point during our parenting careers, but it can be hard to find that help, especially when the situation is an emotional one and methodical reason has been chased away by the fight-or-flight instinct. Illness, separation, poverty, employment, behavior issues – stressors like these and many others affect every family to some degree.
