The Family Place is a dynamic Parent-Child Center committed to supporting families with young children through a variety of strength-based programs. OFFICE MANAGER – Looking for proactive, organized, energetic administrator who will be responsible for office and administrative functions, coordination of technology and data management, and coordination of facility maintenance/operations. As a designated Parent-Child Center for Northern Windsor County, Vermont, The Family Place is committed to supporting families with young children by providing a variety of early childhood, family centered programs and services. Day to day program operations include: supervising and supporting administrative staff to ensure effective, efficient office operations; maintaining working relationships with facility/technology vendors; managing and troubleshooting file systems; and maintaining office operational procedures/policies.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration. 1-2 years demonstrated experience in office management, supervision, and project management, including advanced skills in computer applications including Excel, Access, and donor records systems. FINANCE/HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER – Looking for self-motivated, energetic administrator who will be responsible for fiscal oversight, grant reporting, and budget development, as well as management of personnel benefits. As a designated Parent-Child Center for Northern Windsor County, Vermont, The Family Place is committed to supporting families with young children by providing a variety of early childhood, family centered programs and services. Day to day program operations include: budget development, quarterly fiscal grant reporting, regular program-specific budget reporting, ensuring adherence to federal and state contracts and regulations, compensation/benefits management, and support/supervision of book keeper.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration 2-4 years demonstrated experience in nonprofit management, supervision, financial management and planning including knowledge of accounting, grants management, financial reporting, budget development and analysis. CHILD CARE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE ELIGIBILITY SPECIALIST (20 hour) - Assess eligibility and administer financial assistance for child care to a diverse population of families. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with major work in business (or human services) and a minimum of one year of customer service and/or social work or related experience; ability to interpret regulations, policies and procedures; excellent organization skills and attention to detail; computer knowledge; and outstanding communication skills. INFANT-TODDLER TEACHER (full-time) – Responsible for our early care classroom for infants and toddlers of parents in our Families Learning Together Program. This classroom also serves as a learning lab for young parents learning parenting skills. Must be a flexible, strengths-focused teacher who is committed to a team model and quality early care.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, background in early childhood education, and previous experience with infants and toddlers in a child care setting.
