The Family Place is a dynamic Parent-Child Center committed to supporting families with young children through a variety of strength-based programs. OPERATIONS AND FINANCE DIRECTOR – Looking for an organized, self-motivated, energetic administrator who will be responsible for fiscal oversight and budget development, management of personnel benefits, coordination of computer technology and data management, and coordination of facility maintenance. As a designated Parent-Child Center for Northern Windsor County, Vermont, The Family Place is committed to supporting families with young children by providing a variety of early childhood, family centered programs and services.
Day to day program responsibilities include: preparing financial reports for grants / Board, supervising administrative staff, maintaining strong working relationships with vendors, insuring adherence to federal and state contracts and regulations, problem solving technology challenges, and oversight of human resources.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration. 4-7 years demonstrated experience in nonprofit management, supervision, financial management and planning including knowledge of accounting, grants management, financial reporting, budget development and analysis. EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAM COORDINATOR –
Looking for self-motivated, energetic leader for oversight of our Children’s Integrated Services –EI Program, the Part C of IDEA, a program serving families with children birth to three with disabilities in the Upper Valley and surrounding communities. Day to day program operations include: leading staff, representing agency in community, maintaining strong working relationships with contract staff and community groups, providing supervision, and insuring adherence to federal and state regulations.
Master’s degreepreferred in Social Work, Early Intervention, or related field. 2-5 years demonstrated experience in management, supervision, program development, outcome reporting, and community collaboration in programs addressing needs of families with children birth to three. SERVICE COORDINATOR – Early Intervention (Part C) at The Family Place
Join our energetic Parent Child Center team of professionals serving parents with young children experiencing cognitive, physical, communication, social/emotional or adaptive delays. We have an immediate part – time opening for a self-motivated person to support and case manage families with children birth – 3, working with parents, early care providers, developmental educators, and other specialists to ensure continuity of quality services to a diverse population of families.
Bachelor’s degree with major work in special education, early education, social work or child development and a minimum of two years of home visiting, social work or related experience, experience working with young children and their families, understanding of family issues and Upper Valley community resources, ability to meet timelines, and maintain quality, professional documentation consistent with Part C regulations, attention to detail, computer knowledge, team player, and outstanding communication skills. 8-15 hour / week Tuesday -Friday position for a responsible, mature individual to provide transportation within the Upper Valley for parents and young children in our Families Learning Together program. Position could also include some facility and program tasks.
Valid license, clean driving record, availability between 7:30am-9:30am and 2:30-5:00pm with impeccable record of commitment to professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.
