Many families need help finding and/or paying for child care. For help with finding quality child care or for questions about child care resources in the area, please contact The Child Care Project by visiting their website or calling (603) 646-3233.
The Child Care Financial Assistance Program (CCFAP, also known as child care subsidy) is designed to help Vermont families access quality early childhood care and education. To be eligible, families must meet income guidelines and must have an accepted service need.
Income eligibility is based on gross income and household size.

Each primary caretaker (biological, adoptive or foster parent; legal guardian; or other personal legally responsible for a child’s welfare) in your household must have one or more of the following reasons for needing child care:
