The Child Advocacy Center serves children ages 3 to 18 who have made a disclosure of child sexual abuse. Families visit the Child Advocacy Center after a report of child sexual abuse has been made to Family Services or to the police.
Services of the Child Advocacy Center include case management, therapy, assistance obtaining victims’ compensation and relief from abuse orders when needed, coordinating medical exams, and information and referral to other programs, services, and agencies. Services are offered at our Child Advocacy Centers in Norwich, VT and in North Springfield, VT. The centers are independent from each other and each are accredited members of the National Children’s Alliance.
