Playgroups at The Family Place are FREE and open to ALL parents and caregivers with children ages birth to five.

Playgroups give parents and children a chance to play together, make new friends and share parenting ideas.

Saturday Morning Male Caregivers’ Group

This is for Dads, Grandfathers, Uncles; all male role models!

Day and Time: Saturdays from 10-11:30

The Family Place/Waypoint Collaborative Playgroup

Day and Time: 3rd Monday of the month from 9:30-11 am

Dates & Location: This playgroup alternates locations between The Family Place Playground* and Coburn Park (See below for addresses and rainy day locations) 

  • June 16  – Four Winds Nature Institute will be joining us on our playground at The Family Place! (August 18th rain date)

  • July 21 – Waypoint (Coburn Park –  if it’s raining it will be held inside at Waypoint)

  • August 18 –  The Family Place on our playground*

Day and Time: 1st Wednesdays of the month from 10-11:30 am

Closures: Playgroups do not meet if The Family Place is closed due to inclement weather. The Family Place will be closed in observance of several holidays, and playgroups will not be held on those days.
