Bookkeeper I AR/Billing Specialist
The Family Place is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards while maximizing the organization’s billing and receivables.
The Bookkeeper I – AR/Billing Specialist is responsible for maintaining the agency’s financial records in accordance with generally recognized accounting principles and state mandated guidelines as appropriate. They serve as part of the Finance Department and support accurate and efficient processes and systems to ensure the agency’s financial stability.

Child Family Therapist & Advocate
This dual-role position provides trauma-informed therapy for children, teens, and families, and offers advocacy and case management for families involved with the Special Investigation Unit/Child Advocacy Centers (SIU/CAC) in White River Junction and North Springfield. Clients are typically referred through community partners, and many have experienced significant trauma or adversity. The advocacy component includes assessing needs, connecting families to resources, and offering ongoing support during and after SIU/CAC involvement.

Child Family Therapist
The Family Place is seeking a compassionate, skilled mental health clinician to join our team in providing trauma-informed care to children and families. The clinician will conduct assessments, develop collaborative treatment plans, and provide individual, family, and group therapy. This role also includes crisis support, advocacy, and consultation with schools, DCF, and community partners. Clinicians maintain appropriate documentation and participate in program meetings and trainings. Supervision toward licensure is provided.

Eligibility and Subsidy Coordinator
The Eligibility & Subsidy Coordinator is responsible for providing information and eligibility determination for the Child Care Financial Assistance Program (CCFAP) to families. This position informs and assists parents enrolled in the CCFAP using a strength-based model of intervention and support. The Eligibility & Subsidy Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate, detailed records and documentation including database files, case notes and reports for funders.

MDT Program Coordinator
This position supports the daily operations of The Family Place Child Advocacy Center and the Windsor County Special Investigation Unit (SIU) program. It is the responsibility of the MDT Program Coordinator to develop and sustain a multi-disciplinary team to investigate, prosecute, and provide victim services for cases of child sexual abuse, serious child physical abuse, and sexually based offenses against adults. The MDT Program Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the program including maintaining case statistics, professional development supporting protocol development and team meetings. This role will also support general CAC administration.

Forensic Interviewer
The primary purpose of the Forensic Interviewer is to conduct legally sound, neutral forensic interviews of children and adults who are reported to be possible victims of sexual abuse, sexual crimes, and/or serious physical abuse. Additionally, the interviewer may be asked to conduct or observe interviews of children who are witnesses to violence, or who have been subjected to neglect. The Forensic Interviewer will interview adults and children at both interviewing facilities and/or remotely depending upon the circumstances and/or comfortability of the client. The Forensic Interviewer may also be asked to conduct interviews as a courtesy for other Child Advocacy Centers (CACs) and Special Investigation Units (SIUs) elsewhere in Vermont or N.H.
