Featuring LIVE and VIRTUAL Activities

Celebrate the Holiday Season
& Support The Family Place

To keep everyone safe this year, our annual festival will happen over several weeks.

Throughout the pandemic, The Family Place has continued to offer responsive opportunities to help families and young children thrive.

This year, gingerbread houses will be on display in several locations.

View the delicious-looking creations made by local artisans and families in windows or other visible places in businesses and organizations in the Upper Valley. Gingerbread houses will be on display in Norwich and White River Junction in Vermont; Hanover, Lebanon and West Lebanon in NH.

We are excited to announce The Family Place’s Gingerbread Festival Auction has moved online!

Even though we can’t be together this year, you can support Upper Valley families – and bid on a wide array of fabulous items including: gift certificates to local businesses, gift baskets, artwork, home and garden items, sporting goods, fitness classes, staycation options and so much more! CHILDREN’S HOLIDAY ACTIVITY BAGS
Available for free to families with young children!

Activity bags include a wooden ornament for decorating, a gingerbread cookie courtesy of King Arthur Baking Company (with sprinkles and an icing recipe), coloring and activity pages as well as a location list for families to find and view the gingerbread houses on display throughout the Upper Valley.

Drive-through pick up will be available on Tuesday, 11/24, Tuesday, 12/1, and Thursday, 12/3, from 11 AM – 1 PM and 3 PM – 5 PM at Mascoma Bank in West Lebanon (for NH residents) and The Family Place (for VT residents). Pick up will be social-distanced and outside; please find the tent at either location and drive up to receive your bag.

Please note: Available while supplies last (limited quantity of 200). Please limit one per child. Activities are designed for children up to the age of 6.
