Child Care Center

Our childcare center offers mothers in our Families Learning Together program high quality childcare for their infants and young children.

This past year, the childcare center was thrilled to receive four out of five stars from Vermont’s Step Ahead Recognition System (STARS), an accreditation system developed and implemented by the Child Development Division of Vermont’s Department of Children and Families.

In addition to providing quality care for the children of the mothers in our Families Learning Together program, our childcare center serves as a learning lab. Here the FLT participants can learn which of their babies’ behaviors are developmentally appropriate and how to respond to achieve the best possible outcome. They practice creating healthy, nurturing environments in which both themselves and their babies can prosper.
